Theta Xi Names Williams as Assistant Executive Director
ATLANTA, GA — Theta Xi Fraternity is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Williams as Assistant Executive Director.
In this role, Williams will oversee the Fraternity’s member experience programs and initiatives, help guide the implementation of Theta Xi’s strategic plan, and lead staff responsible for supporting the Fraternity’s undergraduate and alumni programs. He will also work closely with Executive Director Tanner Marcantel, Headquarters staff, university administration, and Fraternity volunteers to strengthen organizational operations and advance Theta Xi’s strategic priorities.
“As we embark on a new strategic plan for Theta Xi, it was critical to realign the Headquarters staff to support the complete member experience. Our ONE THETA XI initiative will require all Brothers and Friends of Theta Xi to engage one another in new and creative ways. I’m excited to have Chris leverage his expertise to strengthen our Brotherhood,” says Executive Director Tanner Marcantel.
Chris brings nearly six years of professional fraternity and association management experience to Theta Xi. Most recently, he served as Director of Organizational Growth for Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, where he led initiatives related to chapter expansion, recruitment, organizational development, and undergraduate support. He previously served as Growth Coordinator and Senior Growth Coordinator for Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
Throughout his career, Chris has worked with collegiate chapters, alumni volunteers, campus partners, and headquarters staff to strengthen membership programs and organizational performance. He has also remained actively involved as a fraternity volunteer, including service as a chapter advisor and as a member of Delta Sigma Phi’s National Convention Planning Committee.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Lander University, where he served as president of the Interfraternity Council and Delta Sigma Phi, vice president of the Student Government Association, and a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Liberty University.
Chris joined the Theta Xi Headquarters staff on July 13, 2026.
