The 143rd Anniversary Convention
Louisville Marriott Downtown
July 27 - 30, 2007
Theta Xi’s from across the country will gather this summer in Louisville, Kentucky for Theta Xi’s 143rd Anniversary Convention at our host hotel, the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
The Louisville Marriott Downtown is the newest Convention Center hotel property in Louisville. Home of the Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby, the hotel is within walking distance of “4th Street Live” (a restaurant, nightclub and entertainment district), and the Louisville Slugger Museum. Brothers and their families will have a wonderful time taking in the local sites, exchanging ideas and setting Theta Xi's path for the upcoming two years.

Make Sure You Can Vote!
Chapter and Colony delegates are entitled to vote on all Convention legislation and elections if they are current in all fees due Fraternity Headquarters. Now is the time to make sure your chapter or colony is current by the end of the school year. Treasurers are urged to contact Headquarters to set up a payment plan if the chapter or colony anticipates any problem in making full payment prior to the end of the school year.
Presidents of current Alumni Associations and Alumni Clubs also carry a vote. Proxies may be designated by notice to Fraternity Headquarters no later than June 27, 2007. Click here to give Notice of a Proxy.
Delegate Expense Policy
Each chapter and colony that is current on all dues and fees is eligible to receive the following benefits for up to two delegates:
- Early-bird Undergraduate Registration Fee if registered by June 15th which includes:
- Enrollment in all workshop sessions
- Official Convention meals including the Opening Alumni Recognition Banquet, Meet the Candidates Lunch and the Closing Awards Banquet
- All convention materials
NOTE - Delegates registering after June 15th will receive a $175 credit towards the full rate Undergraduate Registration Fee
- The delegate's portion of a quad-occupancy room paid for the three nights of Friday, Saturday and Sunday (July 27, 28 & 29)
- One travel allowance to assist both delegates in attending the Convention
