Brothers:
I’m pleased to present Theta Xi’s 2008 Annual Accreditation and Awards program.
Accreditation is a mandatory process whereby your chapter annually provides information to demonstrate that it meets certain minimum standards of operations. The information will be compiled so the Grand Lodge and entire Fraternity will be able to get a better idea of each chapter’s status as well as being used to determine areas of operations where assistance is needed and more and/or new resources should be added.
The questions and submissions to be included in your chapter's online Annual Report to the Fraternity are listed in the Preparation Workbook and is information that should be readily available. After you have reviewed, gathered and prepared your materials, visit the Online Submission Form to begin the process of submitting your report. Then, after completing the online form, use the Submission Checklist to gather and organize your Additional Documentation that will need to be mailed or emailed. Both the online section and the mailed/emailed section must be submitted or postmarked by Monday, June 16, 2008. The accreditation process is further explained by <clicking here>.
The Grand Lodge also desires to reward outstanding accomplishment. With that in mind, this Annual Chapter Reporting Process also provides chapters the option to seek national awards by answering and providing submissions to meet various award criteria. This will be the basis for the selection of Memorial Trophy chapters and other national recognition. More information regarding this optional awards process is explained by <clicking here>.
In this manner, one annual report fills several key objectives. All chapters will obtain feedback every year on their operations and progress compared to the previous year and to all other chapters. It also involves key chapter officers, chapter advisors, alumni association officers, campus Greek advisors, and Headquarters staff in the accreditation and awards process.
Take the time to complete your chapter's Annual Report to the Fraternity to the best of your ability. I look forward to reviewing the results of your outstanding year and wish you luck in the awards competitions. Good luck!
