Strategy: Increasing Alumni Involvment
One of the key elements of Theta
Xi's Strategic Plan is increasing the involvement of alumni. The vision
and goals for this part of the Strategic Plan are:
Vision
Theta Xi alumni members are a robust and capable source of guidance and support for
undergraduate members. Membership in Theta Xi Fraternity is a lifelong commitment. Active
lifelong membership broadens and deepens our understanding of Brotherhood.
Two-Year Goals
- At least 10% of living alumni members contribute time or money to Theta Xi.
- 90% of Chapters have Chapter Advisors.
- 67% of active undergraduate Chapters with at least 30 alumni members have chartered
Alumni Associations with at least five alumni members identified as active, supportive
alumni volunteers.
- 75% of Alumni Associations ensure that undergraduate chapter housing is provided in
owned, leased, or rented facilities.
- At least 75% of Alumni Associations have opened Chapter Education Account(s) within the
Foundation.
Ten-Year Goals
- At least 25% of living alumni members contribute time or money to Theta Xi.
- 100% of Chapters have Chapter Advisors.
- 90% of active undergraduate Chapters with at least 30 alumni members have chartered
Alumni Associations with at least five alumni members identified as active, supportive
alumni volunteers.
- 90% of Alumni Associations ensure that undergraduate chapter housing is provided in
owned, leased, or rented facilities.
- 90% of Alumni Associations have established reserve/endowment funds equal to at least
$50,000 or two years of annual operating expenses, and have Chapter Education Account(s)
within the Foundation of with a principle balance of at least $10 per living Chapter alumnus.
